Our Vision

Tarbert After School Care aims to offer a high-quality childcare service for children aged 3 until primary 7 which
emerges from a real partnership between parents, staff and other professionals. The club
aims to provide a quality service and support to the parenting community whilst maintaining
a professional reputation.

  • To ensure compliance with the legal requirements of registration.
  • To stimulate all-round development ensuring progression of skills.
  • To provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • To establish and maintain a real partnership with parents/carers based on an understanding of how the setting can complement home for the children.
  • To provide flexibility of service for parents that can be reasonably expected.
  • To guarantee reliability of service and ensure ease of access for parents to management and staff.
  • To ensure equality of access to the club regardless of race, gender, ethnic origin, religion, disability, or marital status.
  • To invest in staff with regard to qualifications and competencies that meet the future requirements of registration according to the Children’s Act 1989.
  • To establish and maintain successful working partnerships with other professionals for the benefit of the children, staff, and parents.
  • Work together with families to enable a rights-respecting, strengths-based, inclusive approach as stated in the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.

October holiday week done ✔️What a week we've had... the weather certainly wasn't it's best but we all had great fun regardless 🥳We had endless fun with a number of boxes 👻 We created garden mobiles 🍂 We made so many arts and crafts we lost count 🎨 🎃 🦋 We got very wet on our trip to the park and woods but we had so much fun 🌊We built a bell tent in the garden and turned it into a circus and musical tent 🎶 🤡 We built a fire pit... exciting things to come 🔥... and after all that we even had plenty of time to chill out when we needed to 📚 🎬 We are now closed and will return on Monsay 20th October for after school care 😀 ... It's been a crazy busy few weeks here and the rain hasn't stopped us 🥳So many skills to learn without realising their learning 🥰 Building resilience, developing realtionships, getting creative, showing empathy, working together and taking risks, just to name a few 🤩We are open next week for our holiday week, closed week beginning 13th October and we will be back on Monday 20th October for after school care.
